Terms and Conditions for Purchasing the Gut Microbiome Package
By completing the form and purchasing the microbiome package, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. What the package includes
An intestinal microbiome test using shotgun metagenomics, a state-of-the-art sequencing technology
A precision nutrition report with personalized recommendations for diet, supplements, and lifestyle, based on the test results.
A one-hour nutrition counseling session with a specialist of your choice.
2. Purchase and payment
The microbiome package is available exclusively through Synobis Medical.
Payments are non-refundable, regardless of the results obtained or the consumer’s subsequent decision to continue or discontinue the analysis process.
3. Collection and use of clinical and personal data
By completing this form, you agree to provide clinical and personal information necessary for interpreting your intestinal microbiome analysis results.
The data collected will be used solely for interpreting the results and issuing the corresponding recommendations.
The information provided may be shared with third-party partners specialized in microbiome analysis interpretation, exclusively under secure and confidential conditions.
4. Personal data protection (GDPR)
Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679).
By completing this form, you give explicit consent for Synobis Medical to process your personal data. The intestinal microbiome test results will be received by Synobis Medical from the partner laboratory, and through this agreement, you confirm that Synobis Medical members and collaborators are authorized to process them and, if necessary, share them with third parties (partners) who may assist in the analysis and interpretation of results, exclusively under secure and confidential conditions.
You have the right to request access to, rectification, or deletion of your data in accordance with applicable law. For any request regarding data processing, you can contact us at: contact@synobis.ro.
5. Limitation of liability
Synobis Medical does not guarantee specific results from the microbiome analysis and does not assume responsibility for the consumer’s decisions based on its interpretation.
The recommendations provided do not replace a specialized medical consultation.
6. Processing time for results
Processing of samples at the partner laboratory will take a maximum of 27 business days from the date the sample is received by the laboratory.
After receiving the results from the laboratory, the personalized nutrition report based on the intestinal microbiome will be prepared within a maximum of 5 business days.
7. Nutrition counseling
Nutrition counseling will be scheduled according to the availability of the specialist selected by the consumer.
The consumer may choose a preferred specialist, and the appointment will be made subject to their availability.
